1. Information We Process

1.1 Location Information

When you use track recording, map following, photo geotag matching, track playback, or related analysis features, the app may access your precise location after you grant permission. If you allow background location access and actively use background recording features, the app may continue accessing location in the background to keep your track complete.

1.2 Photos, Files, and Metadata

When you choose photos from the system photo library or files, the app may read the selected photo contents and related EXIF metadata, such as capture time, device information, and existing location data if it is embedded in the photo. When you explicitly save, export, or write changes back, the app may generate a new copy containing geolocation information and, with your permission, save it to the system photo library or export it to files.

1.3 Motion and Device Sensor Information

To distinguish between stationary, walking, and driving states, improve tracking accuracy, reduce power consumption, and enhance track quality, the app may access motion status information and altitude-related sensor information after you grant permission.

1.4 In-App Stored Data

The app stores data locally on your device when necessary to provide its features, including track points, track files, photo matching results, derived photo assets, analytics caches, camera profiles, display preferences, offline map-related caches, and widget shared state. This data is typically stored in local app storage, the App Group container, or system-managed cache directories.

1.5 Optional iCloud / CloudKit Sync Data

If you choose to enable cloud sync in the app, the app may sync the following data through Apple's iCloud / CloudKit private database:

• Track records and track files
• In-app saved photo data, including thumbnails, compressed images, or HEIF copies
• Camera profiles, match records, and related data needed for cross-device viewing

Unless you explicitly export or share this data, synced content is generally associated only with your Apple ID and stored in Apple's private iCloud container.

1.6 Search and Online Service Request Data

When you use map search, offline map area selection, or weather-related features, related requests may include search keywords, language settings, location, or nearby location data in order to complete map search, map resource downloads, or weather queries.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide track recording, map display, playback, and analytics features.
• Match selected photos with tracks by time and location, and generate geotagged photo copies when you confirm.
• Show relevant activity information in widgets and Live Activities.
• Optimize location strategy, power usage, and altitude estimation using motion state, altitude trends, and weather information.
• Enable cross-device viewing and recovery of your in-app data when cloud sync is enabled.
• Store your preferences such as map styles, analytics filters, and interface options.

The app does not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, sale of user data, or unrelated commercial purposes.

3. Third-Party Services and Sharing

The app does not sell your personal information to data brokers and does not share your data with advertising networks for targeted advertising. However, to provide app features, the following service providers may process necessary information when you use related functionality.

3.1 Apple

• iCloud / CloudKit for optional cloud sync and private data storage
• WeatherKit for weather and altitude-related features
• System frameworks for photos, files, location, and motion to provide local app functionality you actively use
• If you use Apple Maps-related capabilities, Apple may also process necessary request data under its own policies

3.2 Mapbox

The app integrates the Mapbox map SDK and may interact with Mapbox in the following scenarios:

• Map rendering and interaction
• Place search
• Offline map resource downloads

3.3 Our Own Servers

Based on the current implementation, the app does not operate a separate account system or a self-hosted backend service to centrally store your track, photo, or motion data. When you use online capabilities, relevant data is mainly transmitted between your device and the service providers listed above.

4. Storage and Retention

Your data may be stored in the following places:

• On your device, for tracks, caches, settings, derived photo assets, analytics data, and widget shared state
• In your private iCloud / CloudKit container, only when you enable cloud sync
• Temporarily by third-party services when needed for map search, map downloads, or weather requests

The app generally keeps relevant data for as long as needed to provide the requested functionality, until:

• You delete records or clear synced data within the app
• You turn off cloud sync and remove related content
• You delete the app
• The system clears cached data automatically

For data stored in iCloud / CloudKit, deletion and storage reclamation may not happen immediately and may be delayed.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage your information in the following ways:

• Grant, revoke, or adjust location, photo, and motion permissions in iOS Settings
• Disable cloud sync inside the app to stop new iCloud sync activity
• Delete tracks, photo records, camera profiles, or clear synced data within the app
• Delete the app to remove app data stored locally on your device

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not specifically designed for children. If you are a minor, please use the app under the guidance of a parent or guardian and obtain permission before enabling location, photo, motion, or cloud sync access.
